European Patent Filings

Through the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), we can also file internationalisations of national patents. Additionally, of particular importance to our clients are the filings of European Patents, which are directly handled by our duly qualified professionals, following their respective prosecution stages.

From 2023, the European Patent with unitary effect ("Unitary Patent") is also active. It is granted by the European Patent Office (EPO) and allows, through the payment of a single renewal fee directly to the EPO, to obtain simultaneous patent protection in EU countries that have ratified the Agreement on the Unified Patent Court (UPC).

Furthermore, we file patents for plant varieties in Italy and abroad.
